What each step involves
Six stages, start to finish. Every one of them says who is doing the work, because that is the question worth asking, and none of them tells you how long the parts we don’t control will take — the state, at step four, is only the clearest case.
You tell us what you do and where
A call, about fifteen minutes. What the work is, what you want to charge, what hours you want to work.

- What you want to charge and what hours you want to work. These are the same services, prices and hours that go on your booking page at step five, so this call is the only time you have to answer them.
We check your name and file with the state
We confirm the name is available, prepare your Articles of Organization, and file them. A person reads what you gave us before it goes.

- Your filing has to name a registered agent — the address the state and the courts use to reach the business. By default that’s you, and it goes on the public record.
- The state charges its own filing fee — $125 in South Carolina, $40 in Kentucky. We collect it with the setup charge and pay the state directly. We don’t mark it up.
- A person reads what you gave us before it goes. Other services say plainly in their terms that they don’t check your information for accuracy.
We get your EIN from the IRS
The number your business uses for taxes and for opening a bank account.
- Your EIN obtained from the IRS.

- The EIN is what a bank asks for when you open a business account — and the first thing an accountant will ask whether you’ve done.
The state approves your company
This part takes as long as it takes. We don’t control it, and nobody who tells you otherwise does either. We’ll tell you the day it clears.

We build your booking page
Your services, your hours, your prices, your photos. Set up with you, not handed over as a blank template.

Every appointment creates a customer record, which is what makes the second appointment possible.
